I am a English/Theater Education student interested in expressing my thoughts and emotions through all types of media.

I took this photo on my tour of Europe in Ephesus, Turkey. One of the women in my group had lost sight of her child in the ruins and turned back to call for him. I took the photo as the sun crested above the worried mother. They pair were soon reunited as the child had only gone off to chase a stray cat.

About Us

ISSN 2042-3543
Publisher: Four Parts Press
Place of publication: UK

Simply put this is a creative writing site that puts the adage, "a picture paints a thousand words" to the test. The premise is that, each month, an image will be given as a visual prompt and you will have up to one thousand words to tell the story that you are inspired to write ... using your imagination as the canvas and language as your brush.

We are open to submissions of artwork to inspire stories and stories inspired by the artwork - how very Ouroboros of us!
