2012-05-25 - Above all else

The digital age has allowed me to explore photography to a higher level and I found myself taking pictures of things I see beauty in that I never would have ‘wasted film on’ before.

I see my photography as an expression of worship and my awe for the One who created these things. I love being able to capture such beauty and hope I do it some justice.

To that end, some of my photos have had asked
“What did you take a pic of THAT for?” and I can only say it captured me in some way that I find beautiful or ascribes greatness to God.

I also love expressing myself through graphic art. I don’t know where I am going with either of these loves of my life, but I thought putting it out there to share might be a good start :)

Simply put this is a creative writing site that puts the adage, "a picture paints a thousand words" to the test. The premise is that, each month, an image will be given as a visual prompt and you will have up to one thousand words to tell the story that you are inspired to write ... using your imagination as the canvas and language as your brush.

We are open to submissions of artwork to inspire stories and stories inspired by the artwork - how very Ouroboros of us!
