In the wings of a sparrow

Magic maybe like seed stored

against the dark come free

to float in the aether

in there today there is no magic.

Wait the flight of sparrows.

We watch for Hawks that prey on lost magic

to keep light away.

For those who shun magic

light or dark want

only shadow selfs

Slip slide away in

linear time.

Straight from Point A to Point B

with no soft edges.

We wait the flight of sparrows

and hope that even one

the last flight will spread wings

and soft talons to release

their stored magic to those

Who wait the flight of sparrows.
