Do not mind me

dear travelers

 

I am merely someone

else’s left-behind work 

 

I will be fine with no

sandals or margarita

no splash of fun

 

Besides, I have a chronic

vitamin D deficiency

 

Might as well rest here

in the sun; too shy to uncover

I will wait until you leave

 

or until the night comes

to sneak me away.
